# Privacy & Data Policy

Canonical page: https://probseek.com/privacy-policy/

Last updated: 2026-09-06

This policy explains how ProbSeek handles information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our managed inference service.

## API data disclosures

- **Prompt and input logging:** Prompt content, including submitted text and media, is not recorded in routine inference logs.
- **Response and output logging:** Response content, including generated text, reasoning, and tool-call content, is not recorded in routine inference logs.
- **Model training:** ProbSeek does not use API inputs or outputs to train models.
- **Operational metadata:** Operational metadata logs are retained for 7 days after creation and then deleted. They contain request IDs, model identifiers, token usage, latency, and status codes, not prompt or response content.
- **Processing locations:** Inference currently runs in the United States (US). European Union (EU) inference is planned and is not currently available. This describes inference processing, not a residency guarantee for account information, support messages, or backups.
- **Other retention and processing terms:** The 7-day period applies to operational metadata. It does not set retention periods for caches, account and billing records, support content, or backups. For service-specific retention, caching, human review, and subprocessor details, contact us before submitting data with particular handling requirements.
- **Privacy and deletion requests:** Send requests to hello@probseek.com. Identify the account or information concerned without including API keys or unnecessary request content.
- **Zero data retention (ZDR):** This policy does not offer a blanket zero data retention commitment. No training and no routine content logging do not, by themselves, mean that every processing path has zero retention.

## Scope and responsibilities

ProbSeek Inc (“ProbSeek,” “we,” “us”) operates the ProbSeek website and managed inference service. This policy covers information associated with website visitors, people who contact us, and API customers.

For processing on behalf of business customers, this policy is read together with the applicable service agreement and data-processing terms. If you access inference through another service, that service’s own terms also apply to its handling of your information. Model authors named in the catalog are not necessarily recipients of your data.

## Website browsing and local storage

The website application has no prompt submission, account registration form, payment form, or API-key input. Its code examples, copy controls, and replay button do not send inference requests. Fonts and brand assets are served locally. The application includes no advertising or third-party analytics scripts and sets no cookies.

When you select a code language, the website stores python or curl under the localStorage key probseek-code-language on this site’s origin. It is used to restore that preference, is not sent by the application, and has no automatic expiry. Clear this site’s browser storage to remove it. Copy buttons write the displayed example or model identifier to your clipboard only when selected.

Catalog search runs in your browser. Search text, model-author filters, capabilities, and sort order are saved in the page URL as q, provider, capability, and sort parameters for sharing and restoration. Editing filters does not itself send a search request, but opening, reloading, or sharing that URL sends its query to the website host and anyone receiving the link. Browser history may retain it. Reset clears the current filter URL; it does not erase browser history, shared links, or host logs. The application limits referrers to the site origin, excluding the page path and search query.

Normal page requests expose network information to the website host, such as an IP address, requested URL, browser headers, and any referrer sent by your browser. Website hosting and network services process this information as part of delivering page requests. The absence of analytics in the website application does not mean that the hosting infrastructure collects no information. Contact us for hosting-log retention details.

## API prompts, outputs, and training

API requests supply the inputs needed to generate a response. ProbSeek does not use API inputs or outputs to train models. ProbSeek does not log prompt or response content in routine inference logs.

Operational metadata is used for diagnostics, usage accounting, and reliability monitoring. It includes request IDs, model identifiers, token usage, latency, and status codes. These records can be associated with an account and should not be assumed anonymous.

The routine logging policy is distinct from caching, information you choose to provide to support, and any separately agreed review or data-processing arrangements. Contact us for the handling terms relevant to your deployment before submitting information that requires specific retention or access restrictions.

## Retention and deletion

Operational metadata logs are retained for 7 days after creation and then deleted. They contain request IDs, model identifiers, token usage, latency, and status codes, not prompt or response content.

The 7-day period does not mean that prompts are stored for 7 days or that all personal data is erased within 7 days. Account and billing records, support correspondence, caches, and backups fall outside that operational-log period. This policy does not specify a universal retention period for those categories; contact us for the terms applicable to your service.

Send privacy or deletion requests to hello@probseek.com. Include enough information to identify the account or records concerned. Applicable legal obligations and the relevant service agreement may affect what can be deleted. Clearing browser storage removes the local code-language preference; it does not delete hosting logs or records held by an account service.

## Recipients, external services, and locations

Inference currently runs in the United States (US). European Union (EU) inference is planned and is not currently available. The location of inference processing does not establish the location of website hosting, account information, support correspondence, or backups. Contact us for the infrastructure and subprocessor details relevant to your service and any required data-processing agreement.

External model documentation and linked account services have their own privacy notices. Following a link sends a request to its destination. This policy does not govern the independent processing of those external services.

Contacting hello@probseek.com sends your email address, message, and attachments through your email service and our email service. We use the information you provide to address your inquiry. Do not include API keys or unnecessary prompt or response content.

## Security and customer choices

Keep API credentials in your server environment and use the HTTPS endpoint supplied for your account. Do not put credentials, secrets, or personal data into catalog search, public examples, source control, or shared URLs.

This policy does not provide a HIPAA, certification, or blanket data-residency commitment. If your use requires specific security controls or regulated-data processing, contact us to establish the applicable requirements before submitting that data.

You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a privacy concern. The rights available to you depend on applicable law. We may need information to verify your identity and authority to act for an account.
